Computer time is used to show the kids the world of information available to them over the Internet. Here the children are seen enjoying the online version of National Geographic Kids.
During this time we also looked at other versions of National Geographic, such as the three print versions of National Geographic, including National Geographic Little Kids. This gives them a chance to discover how media may differ according to the audience it wishes to reach and according to what is possible given the benefits of each medium (e.g. print is portable, Internet is interactive).
